Part 1 of 2 processions recreated by Rediscovered Urban Rituals. The original Horn Fair which began in the reign of King John was banned in 1872. Its origins lay in the legend of King John's cuckoldry of a local miller, sparking an annual procession from Cuckold's Point in Rotherhithe to Charlton House in Greenwich.
For this procession I created a new pair of gold-leaf tipped antlers based on red deer antlers.
