The Probability Tree

Following the writing of a thesis on the “Time Flows Backwards” theory with Harry Willis Fleming, “The Probability Tree” was a living illustration of a fantasy experiment in which I take readings of probability and chaos from different eras of the universes development.

The tree was taken from the garden of the Turku Art Museum and reconstructed inside the gallery. The mirrors at its base rendered a virtual root system and multi-faceted gaming dice were used to determine the branches to be visited and mapped.
